Interlocking Thresholds create a physical barrier that prevents penetration under your door by residual rain, drafts, moisture, and pests. A hook is fastened to the bottom of your door that locks into a special lip found on interlocking thresholds. This creates a physical barrier whenever the door is closed.
Some interlocking thresholds have a special collection trough that traps escaped rainwater that would otherwise have spread into your room. An optional “weep” hole can be ordered with your trough which allows water to exit from the trough back outside under the threshold.
