Description
This 90 Degree, L-shaped Grab Bar is great for safety and mobility improvement in the bathroom and around the house. The stainless steel, non-handed grab bar has a 30” horizontal run, with a 90 degree bend, and a 30” vertical run perpendicular to the first. Outside diameter of the tube is 1 1/2 inches. An extra flange at the corner provides a secure mounting and extra strong support. The ends of the bar are heliarc welded to flanges for maximum strength. The snap flange covers conceal the mounting screws of the mounting flanges. The surface mounted bar has a satin finish with a peened grip. The peened finish provides additional support and comfort that prevents wet hands from slipping on the bar. The bars are fabricated from 18 gauge stainless steel tubing and the flanges are constructed of 11 gauge stainless steel. Complies with accessible design (including ADAAG in the U.S.A.) for structural strength and meets New Building Code.
